Welcome to the PDAudio
stream page, where you will find info regarding our
past streams, and any other streams we find to be interesting.
Note; with one exception, all archives presented on this page were encoded using the open-source Ogg Vorbis format.
Due to the success of the PDAudio 2004 stream, linked below, and due to obligatory tradition, the fourth annual P&DAudio Productions realtime stream aired live on June 24, 2005. It was the longest stream ever, which consisted of the breaking and fixing of some of Patrick's studio configuration, the infamous "Loads and loads of commodes" bit, leading up to Patrick and Derek sounding like a horrible garage band, and all kinds of other strange crap. Granted, 6 hours was a bit long, but we obviously stayed awake through the stream, and so did the live listeners; thus, you should download or stream the Real Time 2005 archive.
By tradition, for the last three years, Patrick and Derek have done an annual live stream, because Derek was initially obsessed with them, and thought they were the best thing in the world since whatever happens to be cooler than sliced bread on any given Sunday. This obsession, as such lead to the first annual PDAudio stream in 2002, and the tradition remained that their would be a stream every year held at the P&DAudio productions Remote Studio number 0.
On Saturday, June 26, 2004, Patrick and Derek got together
at Patrick’s place and did a live stream which lasted 4 hours and 47
minutes, and was, historically, one of the most interesting streams ever done by Patrick and Derek.
According to the original promo for this stream; "With two production/musical
freaks setting new standards for sarcasm and trying to make productions equal
to the quality of their sarcasm, requests from the listeners, and spontaneous
conversation with the ability to take calls on the air; this stream should make
you go fwoof! Although fwoof is not a defined emotion, it is one, and you’ll
know kind of what it is after listening to this stream because you would have
went fwoof some time while listening!"
Are you curious now? If so, then congratulations, you're
in luck!
There are two versions of this stream -- the full, un-cut stream as it was
originally broadcast, or the "stream highlights", which is a much
more compact version, which highlights the best material from the stream,
including a behind-the-scenes look at the local talk back bus. If you don't
want to go through the entire stream, this is the best option.

For best results while listening to the un-cut 2004 stream, you may want to download the the winamp mp3PRO decoder, which is antiquated, and no longer supported. It was, however, a good idea at the time.
If only two streams per year aren't enough, Here are some other streams you may want
to check out, which Patrick and Derek do independently on the Beyond Radio Network, which is maintained by
Andre Louis and friends.
WDGLFM is Derek’s show airing from 2 to 5 eastern, which contains loads of strange and weird things. The show mainly focuses on talk with the minimum of show prep, which of course saves time, and allows for listener participation from callers and IM's. It's not all talk though, from the DGL Man himself, as special guests sometimes come on the show; some are invited, while others aren’t. Because of the equipment available in the studio, talk can lead to loads of other strange and weird things, like the generation of sound effects using strange objects, and the general mucking about with DSP.
Things and Stuff with no one in particular is Patrick's Saturday night show on TBRN from 10:00 PM to 12:00 AM. This show, as the name suggests, is very random, with little planning. Very interesting things can, and have been known to occur during the course of this show. Things and Stuff brings a variety of music, talk, issues and boxes all together in one compact, easily-accessible resource for you, the listener, to enjoy.
